"I know, Dad. But I'll wait. Till she's a few days old. Or maybe weeks."

"Son, everyone's afraid at first. You'll get the hang of it."

"It's okay. I'll just watch you and Mom."

"You'll need to get used to it. We're expecting lots of babysitting. Every night and weekend."

"*Dad*!"

"Just kidding, son."

"Yeah, funny."

"So. Slide your arm under her. Be sure to support her head."

"She's so small, Dad. I'm afraid of hurting her."

"You won't. Just take it slow."

"You try first."

"Come on, son. I'm new at this, too."

"What if I drop her, or she cries?"

"Just be careful."

"Okay, here goes."

"Like that."

"There. You okay, Clark?"

"I think so."

"Not so bad, is it? You'll be a pro in no time."

"Yeah. Now...how do I put her down?"
