Challenge 1: "Clark is afraid, and someone helps him"
fizzabith hasn't written us a "Little Clark," dodecal in quite some time, and more's the pity.

Here's Little Clark, though probably not as cute as hers. I got the inspiration for this dodecal while watching "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" with the girls. Now, I truly believe SV inspiration can be found anywhere.

Martha was exhausted, but sleep wouldn't come, though Jonathan had dozed beside her for an hour.

The boy hadn't spoken since they’d found him. Just smiled like an angel whenever their eyes met, followed her around the house all evening, and eaten a big supper for someone so small. Then he'd let her bathe him, dress him in an old t-shirt of Jonathan's, and tuck him into bed in the spare bedroom.

Tomorrow, they'd have to figure out what to do.

She turned over, restless. Everything felt different. How could one small person make such a difference in the house?

She wasn't aware of having slept when she jolted awake, alarmed. The child stood beside the bed, sniffling, shaking with sobs.

"Mama," he whimpered, holding out small arms.

Martha reached out and gathered him up and into the bed, knowing she was lost.
