Repairs to the final Clark & Lex scene in "Bound".

"Don’t give up on me, yet."

Lex turned back to the window. Clark was silent for a long moment.
"Lex. It’s really that bad?"

Lex nodded.

"I didn’t know." Clark’s heavy sigh was audible in the quiet loft. "Thirteen women, Lex. And all the while I thought it was me you loved."

"I do," Lex said evenly, slipping hands in his pockets, staring out at the night sky. "Those women had nothing to do with that."

"What do you think hearing about all that did to me?"

Lex said nothing further, just shook his head. Clark sighed again, and groped for his hand in the darkness.

"Lex, I don’t think you should go home tonight. Stay here with me. Please. We can talk. I’m not sure I can give you what you want. The trust, the tolerance. Sometimes you scare me. But I’ll try."
